Groundbreaking ceremony for the Complexe 4 Glaces in Gatineau

The construction of the Complexe 4 Glaces was officially launched on Friday, September 21 2018, in the La Cité sector of Gatineau. Bruno Verenini, principal architect at Architecture49 Montreal, was present for the inauguration of the site.

The new 4,000-seat amphitheatre will be the future home of the Gatineau Olympiques and will also serve as a performance venue. The project also includes three community ice-rinks that will renew sports facilities for residents. The construction of a multi-storey parking lot is also planned to meet the parking needs of the area.

This groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Alain Gagné, Executive Director of Vision Multisports Outaouais (VMSO), Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, Mayor of Gatineau, Alain Sanscartier, President of Vision Multisports Outaouais (VMSO), and Martin Lacasse, President of the Gatineau Olympiques.
