On November 15th in Ville Saint-Laurent, the Broccolini Corporate Centre 2 received a commemorative plaque to celebrate attaining LEED Gold status. Designed by Architecture49, the building houses numerous companies including the Hospira Healthcare Corporation.

The 5-story building features several sustainable initiatives:

• Waste management (during construction)
• Use of recycled materials
• Enhanced energy efficiency through a high-performance envelope
• A green roof
• Parking equipped with charging stations for electric cars
• Reserved spaces to encourage car-pooling
• Increased accessibility for pedestrians and bicycles
